# Trust Cue

> Read the public record behind an X (Twitter) account. Trust Cue turns an account's recent public posts into a clear, evidence-backed credibility rating.

Trust Cue is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. It adds a small badge beside names on X; opening the badge shows the overall mark, five consistent checks, word-for-word evidence from public posts, confidence, caveats, and the limits of the result. It never reads DMs or private session data and never posts for the user. Ratings expire after 48 hours.

## The five checks

- **Subject depth:** Do they actually know the topic, or perform expertise?
- **Original framing:** Do they add their own analysis, or just repost and restate?
- **Sticks to the facts:** Do they cite sources, hedge, and update when wrong?
- **Upfront about their stake:** Is what they're selling disclosed, or does it quietly shape the claims?
- **Who engages with them:** Do mature, in-domain accounts engage with them, or is it one-way and shallow?
